Fotomerchant can deliver digital products straight to your customers automatically and stress-free. To do so, create a digital product which will be sent to your customers via email or as an SMS (sms additional fees apply).

Note: Digital products incur an additional cost in order for Fotomerchant to fulfill and process the delivery automatically. Contact your support team on Slack if you need more information about associated costs. If you want to self-fulfill a Digital Product, simply create it as a custom product instead. |
Create a Digital Product
- Click on the green +Create button in the top right corner of your screen, then select +Digital Product.
- Fill out the details for the new digital product by using the help text provided. Start by providing your digital product with a Name, a Description and a Product Code. Supplying a product code is essential as this will represent the product throughout production. FLOW users will need to make sure this code matches within FLOW.
- Select the resolution at which you want this digital product to be sold at. This option offers a diverse range of file sizes in Megapixels. You could create a low resolution social media file (.01mp) or even a digital product with large printing capabilities such as a high-resolution file (50mp).
Note: Digital cost will depend upon the resolution of the image. The cost is $0.10 cents USD for every Megapixel. Ie. 4.0 megapixel file will cost $0.40
- Supply your customer with a printing license and/or have your customer agree to a specific license before downloading. You can supply this license in the form of text or alternatively upload a License File. Learn more about different licensing options here.
- Select the Taxable option as Yes if this product is subject to tax when being sold online. For more information on whether your item should be taxable or not refer to Taxable Items vs. Non-Taxable Items
- Use the Add Image box to add an image to represent this digital product within your shopping cart. You can also add a Product Option, such as background selection, using the Add Product Option box. Both these items can also be added at the catalog level as well.
- Once your Digital Product is complete, click Save at the bottom right corner of the page.
