Custom Products are the base products you sell to your customers. They can be combined together to create your packages. In creating a custom product you may notice that there are plenty of settings you can tinker with, not all of these options are compulsory - we have included the core settings below. However, keep the optional settings in mind, they can be incredibly useful tools depending on your use case.
Create a Custom Product
- Click on the green +Create button in the top right corner of your screen, then select +Custom Product.
- Give the product a Name and a Description (optional).
- We recommend providing a Product Code; this will represent the product throughout production and help you to manage products in the long run. FLOW users will need to make sure this code matches the package map key within FLOW.
- Scroll down and tick Multiple Pose Product if you want to allow your customers to choose more than one image for this product.
- Click Add Image to choose a sample graphic that will be displayed for this custom product on your website. Learn more about your Media Library here.
- Image nodes will determine how many images the customer can choose. Select Add a Node to increase the amount of poses available for this product by one.
- You can also add a Product Option, such as background selection. Both the product image and Product Options can also be added at the catalog level.
- Select the Taxable option as Yes if this product is subject to tax when being sold online. For more information on whether your item should be taxable or not refer to Taxable Items vs. Non-Taxable Items.
- Select the Physical option as Yes (if it is a physical product) and shipping will be charged for this product.
- Once your Custom Product is complete, click the green Save button at the bottom right corner of the page.
