Creating and using a collection of templates is a time-saving, cost-cutting method to avoid creating event after event with near-identical settings in the Console.
Templates can be designed for different workflows, customer designs, and device settings. You're welcome to create as many as you'd like.
Create a New Template
- On the Console, click the Templates tab in the top menu ribbon of the window.
- Click the green New template button to open the Event Template Wizard.
- Take your time to read through the different setting options. The descriptions will update when you change a setting. Nothing is saved at this stage, so you can flick back and forth until you're ready to press Next.
- The wizard will then take you through all the set up pages which are relevant to the configuration you have chosen. Depending on which settings you select, the Wizard will change with each configuration.
- At the end of the wizard you can configure the default device settings required for the event. Every device allocated to this event will automatically adopt these settings when they are assigned to the event.
- Once you have completed the wizard, name your template and press Submit. This will now be saved under the Templates tab, and available for use when creating a new event.

Note: If you have selected any functions which require an integration that is not currently active on your account, you may see a warning as shown below. Follow the instructions provided in the warning to make the required changes. Otherwise, click Back to edit the settings and choose a different option. |
Key Tips
- If you have the messaging setting included in your templated workflow, you'll be able to set the message you wish to send out with the gallery link. Be mindful of the length of your message, you'll be warned if you have written more than one message worth of content. You are not limited to a single message. However, you will be charged per message sent, so if the length of your message is two messages worth, you will be charged double.
Keep in mind this is just a template; you will be able to edit this again when you create a new event based off a template.
- You will have the option to upload branding (watermarks and gallery headers) to the template. This is ideal if you have multiple events scheduled for a particular client. Once you have uploaded the watermark, you can preview the watermark on different backgrounds to ensure that it is suitably clear and visible.

- Once open, you will see a red Delete Template button towards the top right of the window. Click the button.
- A confirmation box will appear, either press Cancel or Delete - this cannot be undone.
