Service Fees
Access the global store settings to create a Default Service Fee label.
Click Store > Settings > Orders. The Default Service Fee label can be set for anything you like, here are some that we've come up with you might find useful:
- Online ordering fee
- Credit card fee
- Archival fee (older sessions)
- Handling fee
- Service fee
This default can be overridden in the Stage Settings of a Session.
However the real magic happens at the stage level in each session.
When editing a stage, either within a session or a template, there is now a section within the Ecommerce section named 'Service Fees'.
Here, you can determine if the fee type is Fixed
or a Percentage
of the amount, and if it should include tax. If the Service Fee is set at a Fixed amount, then it will also offer you a 'once only' option for MCO orders that can be toggled on (Yes) or off (No).
Be alert to the Advanced Shipping rules you have set within your account; if not set up with Cross Session Ordering in mind, these can be affected. We encourage you to contact the Customer Success team on your Slack channel to ask questions and review.

Important note: Coupons that are set to '100% off' will also remove the service fee. |
