Adding a tag to a subject is a great way of quickly identifying and grouping images in Studio and Commerce. This is useful if you want to tag images for yearbook, siblings, re-shoots, glasses etc. It's easy to set up and you will only need to make an additional scan in your workflow.
|
Note: A scanned tag will only be in use until a subject ID is scanned again. To clear a tag, simply scan the subject ID again. |
Create QR Code
First you will need to create a QR code. You can use an online QR code generator, or you can create an additional QR code through Commerce. This will sit alongside your other subject QR codes.
|
Note: This functionality is not available using barcodes at this time. It is restricted to QR codes only. |
The system will only recognise a tagging QR code in the following format:
eiTAG$group
eiTAG$siblings
eiTAG$reshoot
eiTAG$glasses
|
Note: A tag will only be added to the metadata of the images if it is prefixed by eiTAG$ |
To create a 'siblings' (or equivalent) tag in Commerce:
- Create a subject called
sibling
tag
as first and last name. - Use the tag you need for the subject password, in this case:
eiTAG$siblings
