Elements are essentially vector based images that we can add into our templates that come with a couple of bonus features. The instructions below will give an example of how to use an element (as does the video above), however, this is just to highlight the functionality – you have the creative power!
Element as background with linear gradient
- Click the Elements tab from the left menu panel and click & drag a square. Size it out across the template and click the Position button towards the top right of the window and send it behind everything else.
- To change the color, click the colored square next to the Effects button. You can select a bold color which will fill the element, you can also input the RGB if you want a specific color.
- Alternatively, you can create a linear gradient by clicking the Linear heading. Once you select the two core colors of the gradient, you can drag a small box across the line and rotate the angle of the gradient.
We have access to thousands of different icons and images that can be adjusted. to suit your template. The process stays the same, search, click & drag, and then modify on the template.
Image Mask
Any element can be used as an image mask.
Click & drag a shape across to an already placed Image Node. The image will automatically fit the mould of the element you drag and drop onto it. This opens up a lot of opportunity for dynamic creativity in building template. We look forward to seeing what you come up with!
