When an order is submitted for a product that is connected to an American print lab, our system checks and validates that the address provided is a true address. This validation happens after the customer checks out, meaning, the customer will not be notified that the address they added was not correct.
When you come across an order that is requiring action due to an incorrect address, the first thing to do will be to reach out to the customer and confirm the address. Once you know whether the address is correct, you can follow the steps in the different sections below.

Turning ON/OFF the Address Validation Feature
- Go to the Store > Settings area.
- Click on the Orders tab.
- Set the Address Validation field to On or Off depending on what you would like to do.
- Click Save.
How to recognize that an address failed validation
- Open the order. For more info on how to open an order, you can refer to this link.
- If the validation failed, you will see a red exclamation mark next to the Shipping Details Tab and the status will also show a warning that the "Shipping address failed validation".
Fixing an incorrect address
- Open the order. For more info on how to open an order, you can refer to this link.
- Click on the Shipping Details tab.
- Use the orange Fix Address button.
- Enter the new address.
- Press Save.
Skip the Validation for an address the system didn't recognize
- Open the order. For more info on how to open an order, you can refer to this link.
- Click on the Shipping Details tab.
- Use the orange Fix Address button.
- Set the Skip Address Validation field to No.
- Press Save.
