Submitting individual orders for printing
Any orders that show up in the Store > Orders > Requiring Action area require your attention and you will need to go inside the order to see what action is required. It could be that the resolution is too small to accommodate the product ordered or that cropping is required or simply that the order needs to be submitted for printing.
Within the order, the system will show what actions are required and once all products are good to go, the Send to Lab button will appear at the top. It will look similar to the one below depending on which print lab you are using.
Bulk submitting individual orders for printing
If you want to submit multiple individual orders at the same time for printing, you can go to the Store > Orders > Requiring Action area and use the checkboxes to select the orders, then click the Actions button and select Approve and Send individually to lab.
Sending Batch orders
If you want to submit multiple orders as a batch, you can go to the Store > Orders > Requiring Action area and use the checkboxes to select the orders, then click the Actions button and select Approve and Send as a Batch job.
A popup will appear where you can specify how you would like the lab to handle the batch order.
You will have the option to select on how the orders will be split. They can either be split all in one batch or in multiple batches per session/client/season/category.
The sort order will be able to be changed as well as the shipping Method and lastly you can choose an address to send the orders to.
Full Color - Special Rules
With Full Color retouching options have to be set up on the print labs' end and the lab provides us with the codes for retouching that have to be used in Commerce.
When sending a batch order to Full Color, orders cannot be mixed up if they use different products. FLOW products will need to be separated from FOS products (sports, events or school). If products are mixed then the system would flag this batch order and any other batch orders that come in after across multiple accounts.
