A Client is an organization. Adding clients is a vital way of keeping track of your customer records. It's where all of the information for a school, team or other group lives in your account; think of it like your virtual file cabinet!
It is best practice to only ever add a client once and to use the session name as a way to differentiate between shoot and event types. You should also be using Season and Category for all session templates to ensure you can leverage powerful reporting.
For example below a school client used multiple times
The Client name: Milewood School could be used for sessions named
Sessions:
- Milewood School League Football 2023
- Milewood School League Softball 2023
- Milewood School Underclass 2023

Create a new Client
- Click Clients & Sessions from the menu panel and select Clients from the drop-down menu.
- Create a new client by clicking on the green +Client button in the top right corner.
- Complete the details of your new client. Only the Client Name is mandatory.
- In this area, you can also add a logo for the client.
Adding the logo to the client record itself will make sure that it displays in each session that the client is connected to. This makes especially sense for schools that are photographed on a regular basis as it is easier to upload the logo once to the client record rather than to each session individually.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.
To view a client, simply click on their name when on the Clients page. Once they are created, you can refer to their client page for key contact details and easily keep track of the number of orders placed and revenue collected from each client individually.

Note: Client profiles will also automatically be created if they are added to the client option when creating a Session. |
Edit an existing Client
Keep your clients up to date by editing the information on the client profile.
- Click Clients & Sessions from the menu panel and select Clients from the drop-down menu.
- Edit pre-existing clients by clicking on the cog next to their name and selecting Edit in the drop-down menu.
- Complete the details of your existing client.
- Click Save at the bottom of the page.
