Continuous Scan mode makes the Reader motion activated, rather than having to press the center button to activate the scanner.
- To activate Continuous Scan mode, hold down the right-hand button on the Reader until the Reader beeps twice and CS appears at the top of the Reader screen (alongside the battery icons).
- To scan while in CS mode (Continuous Scan Mode), simply wave something in front of the Reader. The scanner is motion activated, so there must be enough light in the room for the scanner to detect motion. You’ll notice the red light activate. The Reader will beep and buzz to indicate a successful read and the number of ID's displayed on the screen will increase.
- To return to normal scanning mode, hold down the right-hand button on the Reader until it beeps twice and CS disappears from the top of the Reader screen.

Note: Continuous Scan Mode tends to use more battery than normal mode. This is because the scan light will be more active than in normal mode. |
