Sessions are the shoots you want to publish online to sell your photos. There are a few steps involved when creating a session. As such, we recommend you use Session Templates when creating multiple sessions with the same stages and behaviours. But if you need to create a simple Session for a single job, here's how:
- From anywhere inside of the Fotomerchant interface you can access the Create button at the top right-hand corner. Select the green + Session button.
- Complete the necessary session details in the fields provided. Not all fields are compulsory, however, it is likely more useful in the long-term to flesh out as many details as possible.
- Scroll down and add a session description (optional) and the Access code for the pre-pay portion of the session, if needed. Leave blank if not needed.
- Scroll down the list and select the features you wish to apply to this session. Using a session template will automatically configure these settings.
- Press the green Save button. You will be directed to the stage tab within the session where you will need to create the session stages.

Note: Session stages are the timeline set for when the session will be online for pre-order, pause stage, and or Proof Stage/re-order stage. You can have an endless number of stages and configurations. A session can not go live if the stages have not been created. |
