Commerce
Subject data can be uploaded into Commerce with a CSV file. Make sure you have followed the provided instructions to create the CSV file to ensure a successful upload.
- Make sure your CSV file is correct with the appropriate headers and that the data is filled out completely.
- If you are uploading for a reorder or proof, you should have also uploaded/synced your Images using FileZilla or Goodsync. Please check that the upload was successfully completed.
- Click Clients & Sessions from the menu panel and select Sessions from the drop-down menu.
- Use the search bar to quickly locate a session by name if it is not visible immediately.
- Here you can select the session which needs the new subject/s. Click the session name to enter it.
- Select the Files tab on your session page.
- To add the data file, simply drag your CSV file over into the space provided or click on the box to open and load the file into the system.
- The system will take your file and start processing it. Depending upon how large the file is, this process may take a few minutes.
- When the file has successfully loaded you should see the green bar update: "This file is ready to be processed" as well as a blue "Start processing" button to the right. Click on the Blue Button to start processing your CSV file.
- The system will now process the data file. Depending on the size and complexity of the file, this may take an additional few minutes to process.
- When completed, the green box will change to Done. There should also be a number count in front of the Records Found and in front of the Valid Records. You do not need to stay on this page for the import to take place, you should come back to verify the number of subjects created match the amount you anticipated in your data.
- Click the Subjects tab and watch the subject data and images (if preloaded) start populating within your session. Again, depending on the size and complexity of both the data and the session, this could take several minutes to complete.
