When Lab Products are set up with Text Nodes, users are able to select Product Options to use as a means to determine the value that is associated with the Text Node. Unlike other Product Options, Forms can be used in conjunction with a Form Field selection to determine the value that is associated with the Text Node.

Form Field Values
The Form Field you select has a direct impact on the value that is associated with a Text Node during the shopping process. Below is a breakdown of how these values work.
Text, Number, Date
Whatever value is given by the user for the chosen Form Field will be associated with the Text Node.
Example: If the Form Field chosen in the below scenario is “Hair Color”, the value saved with the Text Node will be “Brown”.
Select menu, radio buttons
Whatever Label is associated with the chosen option will be associated with the Text Node. NOT the code.
Example: if the Form Field chosen in the below scenario is “Teacher”, the value saved with the Text Node will be “Mrs Smith”.
