With the release of Subject Export Templates, users can now generate Subject Exports from directly within the Portal.
Access to Subject Export Templates
In order to generate Subject Exports, users must be granted access to at least one Subject Export Template. More information about creating and provisioning Subject Export Templates can be found here.
Generating a Subject Export
When viewing the subjects list for a given Photo Session, an Export All button will appear, allowing users to begin the Subject Export process.

Note: Unlike with Print jobs, Subject Exports will always include all subjects for a session, regardless of whether or not the user has made selections. |
The first step is to select a Subject Export Template from the list of templates that have been made available to that user. On this page, the user will be able to view all available templates, as well as the following information about each template:

The Subject Export Definition used by the template

The dimensions of the images that will be exported

The data fields that will be exported for each subject

The default options for how the subjects will be grouped and sorted within the export
Once a template has been selected, they will be able to preview the export prior to confirmation, as well as make minor adjustments to the format of the export:

Name - The filename for the Subject Export

Sort By and Group By - The options for sorting and grouping subjects within the export. Some templates do not allow the default options to be overridden; in such cases, these options will be greyed out
Finally, upon clicking the “Export” button, generation of the Subject Export will commence. The user may remain on this page to allow the export to begin downloading automatically once it has been generated. Alternatively, if the user navigates away from this page, a download link will be emailed to them as soon as it is available.
