How to create and use an Operator (photographer)

Inside Commerce, you can create different Operators (photographers). These can then be assigned to one of your Capture devices. Anytime you have multiple Capture devices at one location and you want to check the images coming in, you can use our Studio application to filter and review by the specific Operators. 

Create an Operator

1. Open Commerce and select Studio from the left menu panel.
2. Click Operators, and press +Operator in the top right of the window.
3. Fill in the relevant details and click the green Save button at the bottom.

To add an Operator to a device

1. Open Commerce and select Studio from the left menu panel.
2. Click on Devices. Here you will see the list of Capture devices associated to your account. If you do not see all devices, press the Sync Devices button in the top right corner.
3. Next, press the cog icon beside the device you wish to allocate to an Operator (photographer) and select Edit.
4. Go down to Operator and select the correct person from the list available and press Save. All sessions with this device used will now allow you to filter for Operator inside of the Studio application.
