Matching subjects to orders will start the process of generating and delivering any digital and direct fulfillment products ordered.
|
Pre-Orders that do not have subjects assigned, either because they were imported from paper orders or collected in Commerce when no subjects were loaded at the time the order was placed, will need to be manually matched to subjects before fulfillment can occur.
For pre-orders that are collected within a session in Commerce, we recommend setting up a shopping cart form that has the First and Last Name fields mapped to the Subject First and Last Name data. In doing so, the system will automatically try to match any uploaded subject data to the information provided in the shopping cart form. You would then only need to approve the matches.
On occasion the subject data and shopping cart form data won't match. This could be due to a typo or a different name used. In this case you will be able to manually match a subject to an order.
