Remove some of the work from your workflow with Studio automation. Set up the session with the items you'd like by AI: background removal, auto head sizing, auto-reject no faces, and group photo filtering.

How to use Studio image options inside Commerce to determine the customers' shopping cart experience.

Note: Automation can only be activated in a session that has not had any images uploaded or imported into it. |
- Open Commerce and enter a session Clients & Sessions > Sessions.
- Click the grey Edit button in the top right corner.
- Scroll down to the Fotomerchant Studio options section. Turn the automatic features On if you want them operating in the session.
- Scroll to the bottom and click the green Save button to confirm.
Automation on import
Watch Studio automation in action when importing data and images, alternatively use these features with our Capture device as you photograph. Better workflow, faster!
- Inside the Studio application, open the session that had just been activated for automation in the step above.
- Click Studio > Import, select the data and images required, and import. Check this article for further instructions about imports.
- Depending on what you have set as the session settings in Commerce, once the images have been uploaded you will see that the automated updates have been applied – the photos will be sorted accordingly.
Shopping cart settings for automated images
Control what your customers see in their shopping cart when the powerful options inside Commerce are activated.
- Go to Commerce, open a session and click Edit.
- Scroll down to the Shopping Cart Settings. Only make specific crops available in the shopping cart for your customers (Restrict by crop name), or by specific poses (Restrict by pose ID). You can only use one crop restriction at a time - choose what works best for your workflow. Published Image Type filter specific image types in the cart e.g. Knockout only.
