Enabling Online Sales

Capture

There are currently three ways to make sales through Capture. 

• Bypass Console Galleries completely and direct all sales through your Fotomerchant Commerce account. 
• Provide access for your customers to receive free lo-res downloads through their personal MyPics Gallery, but redirect to Commerce for hi-res and print sales.
• Sell hi-res downloads through the MyPics gallery using Stripe. Images can be sold at either a flat rate or tiered pricing for a digital download of original un-watermarked jpeg images.

Redirecting to Commerce

1. If this event was not first created in Commerce, you will need to manually add the Fotomerchant integration to the event. Click the Integrations tab under the image scroller, and click the green Add button.
2. Select Fotomerchant from the drop-down list. If Fotomerchant does not appear in the list, please reach out to the support team on your Slack channel.
3. You'll be prompted to select between creating a new Session on Commerce or connecting to an existing session. When creating a new session, you will need to select a client and workflow template to associate with the session.
   • Click the blue Next buttons to advance through the modal. Give the new session a name, this name will be accessible to customers. Click the green Submit button to confirm.
   • If you select Choose Existing you will then need to select the session from a list of available options. Click the green Submit button to confirm.
4. Click the Sales tab under the image scroller. Ensure the Provider has been set to Fotomerchant. 
5. You now have two options under the Fotomerchant Redirect setting.
   • Immediately will bypass Capture Galleries altogether and send customers directly to the Commerce shopping cart instead of showing a gallery on MyPics.
   • On cart select will allow people to have free lo-res downloads through the Capture Gallery but will redirect to the Commerce shopping cart for hi-res and print sales when the shopping cart button is selected.

ELEMENTICE

1. Ensure your Stripe account has been set correctly before proceeding.
2. When Elementice is selected as the Provider, you must decide whether to have a flat rate for downloads or configure a tiered Pricing Strategy.
3. If setting a Single Price, type in the Base Price and click out of the text box.
4. If you want Tiered Pricing, you will need to input the parameters and price settings. Press the blue Add a Pricing Tier if you want to provide further options.
5. Add a promotional message to appear at the top of the MyPics gallery.
6. Toggle whether to show the price list popup in the gallery.
7. Test out your settings in your own gallery before the job.
