Sending orders as a Batch Job to the lab is designed so the studio can easily select a large group of orders and send them directly to the lab with ease. You can also do this from just one session by going to that session, the order tab and following the same instructions from step 3.

Lab specific information: Full Color lab cannot have mixed batches. All orders must be using the same category of lab products to be sent in a batch. |
- Click Store from the left menu panel, then select Orders. You should now be in the order screen and viewing the Requiring Action tab.
- There are two ways to send orders as a batch:
- To select all orders, check the box at the top next to the Order Reference header.
- If you just want a selection of orders, rather than all of them, you can manually check each box next to the Order Reference on each order line.
- Click on the Actions button next to the search bar at the top of the window.
Select which action you wish to choose from the drop down menu. The option you choose is determined by your specific workflow. Note: Available options are determined by lab and shipping method configurations.
- Approve and Send Individually to Lab: This is the standard way to ship out orders. Typically, these orders will not be bundled and shipped as one unit but treated individually.
- Approve and Send as a Batch Job (Ship to Studio): processed as a batch job through the lab, packaged and shipped to the Studio as one large order.
- For example, you might receive a large box of individually packaged prints, you would then need to sort and ship these packages to the customer, or deliver them to the school.
- Approve and Send as a Batch Job (Ship to Customer): processed as batch job through the lab but packaged and shipped to the Customer as 1 large order. This is a useful solution if sending all orders to a central location, like a school.
- Once you've made a selection, an additional window will open asking for you to confirm that you wish to send these orders to the lab.
- This is your last chance to bail!
- Once you have submitted the orders the status of the orders will be labeled processing. Once they have finished processing they will move over to the processing tab and the status will update to waiting for lab.

Quick Tip : Using Batch Job Reference Each batch order that you send will have a unique 13 alphanumeric reference code that can be used when communicating with the lab to check the status of the batch.
